Important Information

All of our activities are designed for all levels of fitness, with an emphasis on personal choice. There are many ways, ranging from verbal support to in-depth physical challenge to participate in our activities. The information below is designed to prepare you for the best experience possible.

 

What to Wear

 

 

 

 

 

Clothing:

 

 

Loose casual clothing that you feel comfortable playing in.

Gym Clothes or Athletic Wear

 

It is important to dress for the weather:

Cool: Layers for warmth - wool or fleece (avoid cotton)

 

Rain: Change of clothes suggested and/or rain gear (we have some basic rain ponchos available)

 

Warm: Shorts and T-shirts or light pants to protect from abrasions

 

  Shoes:

Low heeled, closed toe, sturdy, comfortable and durable.

Sneakers or hiking boots

No Sandals, Soccer flops, Birkenstocks, etc.

Anyone wearing inappropriate footwear will NOT be permitted to participate!!!

  Socks:

Necessary. Wear a weight that is comfortable for the weather.

  Glasses or Sunglasses:

A retaining strap such as chums® or croakies® is recommended

 

What not to bring

 

We will be asking that you remove the following before participating in our activities.  So, you may want to think about NOT bringing these items with you:

Jewelry

Watches

Anything in pockets (billfolds, etc.)

Beepers

Cell Phones

(No signals for cell phones are available at the Training Center)

Walkman/Headphones

Knives, etc.
