The Outdoor Institute is located at Triangle Training Center, nestled on a beautiful, secluded, wooded tract between Pittsboro and Chapel Hill (just off of hwy 15/501).

Our center features large contemporary classrooms, an outdoor learning environment, and a primitive camping area.

A variety of affordable catered food services are available upon request including vegetarian, gourmet and snacks. However, pizzas and subs are our most popular requests from school age groups.

Our covered picnic area serves as an excellent place for groups to enjoy their lunch.
